Metal alchemist memes roy x reza1/19/2024 What in the sam hill is happening when Ling is tugging on Greed's soul to stop him from being sucked in to his father and then punches Ling to heroically sacrifice himself? Where in the world-building is this explained? How do souls punch each other? It's not explained it's just "alchemy." (Aka magic.) And there's so much shit where I was like "wait why does that work?" and the series doesn't explain because it's essentially magic at this point. In Brotherhood, transmutations circles are so easily circumnavigated that they're never really mentioned and alchemy feels more like super powers since all alchemists just have some "power" that they always have access too. Transmutation circles get drawn all the time and it's a big deal if one gets destroyed because then you can't do anything unless you draw another one, unless you're Ed or whatever. Equivalent Exchange gets mentioned a lot, the Philosopher's Stone was a big deal when it finally showed up, and alchemy was NOT magical in any way. Three: Alchemy was much more central to the story and more grounded in FMA. Like "Snake? Snake? Snaaaaaake!" moments when people die kind of cliches. Two: Brotherhood felt very full of cliches. I didn't really feel anything profound after, it was basically another adventure of Big Bad Villain has to be stopped by Plucky But Determined Heroes. If I had to do the same for Brotherhood, it's like.uh."Let's work together and save the day by punching the bad guy!" It really did feel that basic to me. One: If I had to sum up the major theme of FMA, it would be: "What is the value of a human life?" It constantly seemed to be asking that question. My major takeaway was thus: FMA is a more mature, adult show than Brotherhood which felt like a pretty generic shonen. (Though it's been a while since I've seen either show, so pardon my imperfect memory, but I was reminded of them recently and wanted to post this.) I'm wondering if someone who's good at critique or whatever can illuminate me on what Brotherhood does right, because I couldn't help but feel it did a bunch wrong. I say this because I've watched both FMA from 2003, and FMA: Brotherhood (henceforth the 2003 version will be referred to as "FMA" and FMA: Brotherhood will just be "Brotherhood") and I really, really can't get past how I think FMA is the superior show. I'm not trying to be insulting, because I'm actually curious. Questions, discussion, analysis, fan art, cosplay, quality memes, etc. As a warning to you now, they're pretty screwed up! Also, if you have not seen FMA, this is your final spoiler warning. If you can't help but LOL, who is anyone else to judge? Below lie some of the most cringe-worthy yet funny memes with Nina and Alexander from FMA. One way to channel such somberness into laugher is through these messed up FMA little girl and dog memes. Regarded as one of the saddest moments in anime, people attempt to convert this somber moment into Fullmetal Alchemist Nina memes that induce laughter and sadness simultaneously. However, in the dark recesses of the Internet, more twisted fans created memes of Nina and Alexander from FMA, the daughter-dog pair who found out just how twisted both alchemy and FMA families can be. Fullmetal Alchemist remains one of the most popular anime around, meaning the Internet produces no shortage of Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood memes. The more lighthearted funny FMA memes poke fun at Edward’s height, Colonel Mustang’s powers, and the insanity of the Seven Deadly Sins.
